If you make a smoothie big enough and with all the right ingredients, it can certainly be enjoyed as a meal. An ideal time to enjoy smoothies is in the morning, especially because you can take it to-go as a fast food breakfast.
- 1 ripe banana, frozen
- 1.5 cup almond milk *try making your own*
- 1/2 cup kale, de-stemmed
- 2 Tbsp almond butter
- 1 Tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tsp or more, cocoa powder
- Blend until smooth + creamy.
Feel free to add more or less of any of the above.
