This sports drink is better than any brand from the grocery store. It’s made from all-natural ingredients, and is packed full of energy promoting electrolytes. It will refuel your cells, keep you hydrated and replace the minerals lost in your sweat. A great way to beat the heat.
1 quart filtered water
a big pinch of unrefined sea salt
¼ c juice from fresh, organic lemons or limes
2 tbsp *raw honey
Mix all ingredients in a large glass jug or jar, until combined.
Chill in the fridge for a few hours and enjoy.
Consume before, durning or after a workout, or on a beautiful, hot summer day. I love adding fresh mint for even more refreshing flavour.

*Bonus Recipe- Ginger + Coconut Water
3-4 slices of fresh ginger, peeled + sliced
2-3 cups 100% pure coconut water
5 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp *raw honey
1/8 tsp sea salt
Place 1 cup of coconut water + ginger slices in a small pan, and heat on medium for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let steep for another 5 minutes minimum. Stir in raw honey until dissolved.
In a seal-able jar or container, shake together the prepared ginger/coconut water, plus the lemon juice, salt and remaining coconut water. Taste, add additional water if you prefer a more diluted drink.
