These eggs are the perfect snack to take on a hike, to work, or pop in your mouth anytime you’re feeling hungry.
Ingredients
- 6 or more, free-range eggs
- 3 Tbsp. black+white sesame seeds
- 1/4 tsp chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper, optional
- 1 – 2 Tbsp Nutritional yeast
- 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- sea salt+pepper, to taste
- roughly chopped parsley, for garnish
Preparation Method
- Hard boil eggs (for about 6 minutes in pot full of water, over high heat)
- Let eggs cool, and gently remove the shells.
- On a large plate, or clean cutting board, sprinkle seeds, yeast, spices + seasonings to cover the surface.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over peeled eggs, then roll them through the seasoned surface. Garnish with parsley.
Enjoy at room temperature, or store in the fridge for later enjoyment.
