
Overview
This cocoalicious recipe uses a very special green tea — Snowy Mountain Jian. This tea is grown at high altitudes in the Yunnan Province of China. Although a green tea, this tea is processed a bit differently than other green teas – giving it a more full body flavor somewhat similar to black teas. Please note, you can use any green tea (or even black) you like.
Ingredients

1/2 c. cocoa nibs

2 c. Snowy Mountain Jian green tea

2 Tbsp cardamom pods

3 – 4 cinnamon sticks

.5 tsp cloves

.5 tsp peppercorns
Preparation Method

Bring 6 cups of water to boil

Add all ingredients then, turn heat to low, cover and let simmer for about 1 hour

Strain and serve with nut or seed milk & a touch of honey or maple syrup.
